Among its most unique nightlife venues, Duvet stood out with a groundbreaking theme: a bar where beds replaced traditional seating, creating an immersive, lounge-like atmosphere. To bring this avant-garde vision to life, the owner needed a striking, durable, and high-end material that would set the tone. That’s where ThinkGlass countertops came in.
Duvet featured three stunning bars, each lined with nearly 150 feet of custom glass countertops. The bar facades were adorned with our signature ICE texture, enhancing the ambiance with mesmerizing light play and reflections. Guests were welcomed by a backlit glass floor, while a central glass staircase elegantly connected the two levels of the venue. The design extended even further with a custom glass mosaic at the sushi bar, and ThinkGlass even supplied the glass sushi trays, reinforcing the venue’s sophisticated and modern aesthetic.
After 12 years in operation, the owner of Duvet decided it was time to move on. But before closing its doors, he reached out with an unexpected request: Would ThinkGlass be interested in reclaiming the glass countertops? His reason? Even after more than a decade of heavy bar traffic, countless spilled drinks, and thousands of guests, the countertops looked as flawless as the day they were installed. A true testament to the durability and timeless beauty of ThinkGlass products.
Ultimately, these very same glass countertops found a new home in another restaurant, proving once again that when it comes to strength, longevity, and style, nothing compares to ThinkGlass.
